Personalize Your Phones By Your Ringtones

Ringtones! The hottest word today in the community. People now want to personalize their phones by using distinct ringers. There are lots of websites that offers different kinds of ringtones from polyphonic, to realtones, and even to the latest video tones, but most people want it free. There are many websites that claims they are free but you have to be very careful because there’s always a catch. First of all, they won’t waste there time giving it free if they don’t get something in return, although there are also very few who really are but with limited selections.
The safest way to have it free is to make your own. There are softwares or programs that you can buy once and use it for lifetime so you won’t buy them anymore. This really would take some effort and a bit knowledge but it’s worth it because you won’t pay anything. But if you’re looking for the easiest way, there are many websites where you can dowload latest ringtones with many artists to select from and you can get your favorite ringers in just three simple steps. First, is to enter your cellphone number, second they’ll send you a pin number to make sure it’s you yourself and not somebody else entering your number, and the third step and last is for you to select the ringtone that suites your taste and describe your personality or mood, and you’ll have it in your cellphone in a few seconds.
The first thing you need to know before you make, or buy and download a suitable ringer is if your cell phone is supports the format. Take note, not all mobile phones are capable of playing MP3 and video tones but if you have the new models most likely your mobile phone supports it. The best thing to do is to check with your phone’s manual or ask your vendor about it.
There are four different kinds of ringtones:
1. Monophonic - encoded using basic sequencing technology to play a song: it’s a one instrument, one note at a time thing.
2. Polyphonic - encoded using MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) or similar formats but do not contain voices or instruments.
3. RealTones - encoded with high fidelity formats such as MP3, AAC, WAV or WMA format, and oftentimes called Real Music because they use original pieces of music along with lyrics, exactly as the original recording.
4. VideoTones - a combination of the MP3 music that is played when a user receives an incoming call or message and its corresponding visual film or animation clip.
